"BALCAN EXPRESS" is graffiti festival founded in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Festival is organized by Urban culture association "N.E.K.O." and suported by BRITISH COUNCIL, SDC, GOETHE INSTITUT and city of SARAJEVO.
"BALCAN EXPRESS" graffiti festival is first of this kind ever organized in Bosnia and it is on good way to become one of the biggest in region.
Vol.1 was held 21.-26. August 2006. and it hosted 25 graffiti artists from: Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Swiss, Italy, Germany and France. This years venue had 4 fases: Painting a mural 50x5m, painting a city tram, painting canvases for the exhibition, and graffiti workshop with the kids.
At this moment Urban culture association "N.E.K.O." is working on "BALCAN EXPRESS 2007" so stay tuned for more info
